My most recent experience with Flaviar has left me wanting. It has taken longer than expected to ship my order. (Yes, I realize it is the Holiday season) With no attempt to explain, outside the typical (It just came to our attention that the following product(s) haven't shipped within the period suggested at the time of your order) That was a week ago, the order was over two weeks ago. No up-date, offer to substitute, reduced shipping, nor any options to rectify the issue. My order still hasn't shipped. If I hadn't previously had a much better experience with Flaviar, the rating would be much lower.
Very late delivery.

Great selection, excellent pricing, even free shipping at a very attractive price point. Excellent customer service, super friendly and personable.
One star removed because the process to send a gift to someone else is difficult to navigate. Maybe it’s just me, but I had to change the name and address of my account to the name and address of the recipient of the gift, then change it back again after the gift was delivered.
The company they use to employ the tracking of the package sends out information very difficult to decipher.
My first order with Flaviar did not ship. I emailed customer service, and Alex responded very quickly. Next thing I knew, the order was scheduled to arrive two days later! Alex truly displayed customer focus.

the shipping company, Spee-Dee, "lost" my request to hold a package at the distribution center as I would not be home at the time of delivery. Instead, after I didn't answer the door, Spee-Dee sent it back (halfway across the country). I notified Flaviar of the issue, and they promptly got back to me with a response that they would work with the vendor and resend the package free of charge.
